Our year-round flagship farmers market, under the canopy of giant elm trees on the campus of Portland State University (PSU), welcomes up to 9,000 shoppers on a summer Saturday. Portland-area residents and chefs, along with visitors from around the world, flock to the market to browse as many as 100 vendor stalls featuring local farmers and food producers.
PSU Farmers Market is located in Downtown Portland in the South Park Blocks between SW College & Montgomery Streets. The closest address is 1803 SW Park Ave, Portland, Oregon. Access the market from SW Park Ave and Montgomery Street or from SW Broadway Street at SW Harrison, SW Hall or SW College Streets. PSU Farmers Market is in the pedestrian-only center of the campus.
This market is easily accessible via TriMet. MAX, Portland Streetcar, and TriMet bus routes provide service a block or two from the market.
There is on-street parking and several parking garages around the market. Learn more about parking locations and rates.
Street-level ADA accessible parking spaces, some of them designated for wheelchair users only, are located at:
If you are new to shopping at farmers markets or have questions, our market staff and volunteers are happy to help. You can find us at the Market Information Booth under the yellow canopy during market hours to learn more about vendors, events, activities, purchase PFM-branded merchandise or tokens, and more!
Some bathrooms in the PSU buildings are open and available for use to shoppers.
PFM is dedicated to reducing the ecological footprint of our five markets and inspiring community change. We encourage waste reduction at our farmers markets in the following ways:
Durable Dining Program
Durable Dining is PFM’s initiative to encourage more reuse and less waste at the markets by having hot food vendors at select markets serve their goods exclusively on reusable dishware.
Hot food vendors at PSU Farmers Market have replaced compostable dishware with durable, reusable bowls, plates, cold cups and flatware.
Water Bottle Fill Stations
PFM does not allow the sale of disposable water bottles. Shoppers are encouraged to bring their reusable bottles or cups and use our water bottle fill stations at our markets.
Reusable Shopping Totes and Produce Bags
PFM encourages shoppers to bring reusable shopping bags and totes to the farmers market. If you forgot your bags, we have totes and bags available for purchase at the market information booth.
