Shemanski Park Farmers Market is a popular shopping destination for downtown residents, office workers, tourists, and local chefs. Founded in 1998, this gem of a market features over 30 vendor booths filled with farm-fresh and locally-made food under a lush green canopy of trees.
Shemanski Park Farmers Market is located across the street from the Portland Art Museum and behind the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall between SW Main and Salmon. The closest address is 1000 SW Park Ave, Portland, OR 97205.
This market is easily accessible via TriMet. Several bus routes provide service just a block or two of the market.
On-street parking and several parking garages surround the market. Click here for rates & location information.
Covered and uncovered bike parking is conveniently located near several market entrances. For additional information about biking in downtown Portland, click here.
If you are new to shopping at farmers markets or have questions, our market staff and volunteers are happy to help. You can find us at the Market Information Booth under the yellow canopy during market hours to learn more about vendors, events, activities, purchase PFM-branded merchandise or tokens, and more!
There will be monthly seasonal produce tastings and our annual Harvest Market on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
PFM is dedicated to reducing the ecological footprint of our five markets and inspiring community change. We encourage waste reduction at our farmers markets in the following ways:
Durable Dining Program
Durable Dining is PFM’s initiative to encourage more reuse and less waste at the markets by having hot food vendors at select markets serve their goods exclusively on reusable dishware.
Hot food vendors at Shemanski Park Farmers Market have replaced compostable dishware with durable, reusable bowls, plates, cold cups and flatware.
Water Bottle Fill Stations
PFM does not allow the sale of disposable water bottles. Shoppers are encouraged to bring their reusable bottles or cups and use our water bottle fill stations at our markets.
Reusable Shopping Totes and Produce Bags
PFM encourages shoppers to bring reusable shopping bags and totes to the farmers market. If you forgot your bags, we have totes and bags available for purchase at the market information booth.
Please note that vendor attendance varies from week to week.
Select the week you are interested in from the drop down menu to see what vendors are expected at market on that date.
