New Vendors at Kenton Farmers Market 2024

Four new fabulous vendors are joining Kenton Farmers Market this season!

Visit Kenton Farmers Market this Wednesday (and every Wednesday through September 27) from 3 to 7 pm to meet and welcome these local small businesses to the market’s 13th season.

From the rich and sweet babka to refreshing blueberry smoothies, there is a delightful variety of products waiting for you at the market. We’ve got something for everyone!

1. Babkush: Babkush is a local small-scale bakery celebrating global Jewish food traditions. Many of the items produced are ones the owner grew up eating and are inspired by the foods and flavors of Jewish communities from around the world. Babkush is also an attempt to build a business that aligns with the owner’s values. They are committed to donating a portion of sales to causes they believe in, particularly social justice organizations, and operating in a way that centers and builds community.
2. Cosmopolis Coffee: Cosmopolis Coffee is a small local coffee roasting business that imports green coffee beans from Colombia. The owner has ancestral ties to Colombia, as his great-uncle was a coffee farmer in Tolima. Cosmopolis is dedicated to purchasing beans only from small farmers and cooperatives committed to sustainable agriculture.
3. Fernandez Farms: Fernandez Farms is a family of 12 that has been in business since 2008 in Sunnyside, WA. Growing fruits and vegetables, they are certified Organic and work very hard to bring amazing-tasting produce to their friends, family and shoppers.
4. Sunshine Smoothies: A new, up-and-coming woman-owned business creating smoothies with locally sourced ingredients. Made with fresh Oregon/Washington berries, fruit, herbs, vegetables, and juice concentrates sourced from regional farms blended to delight your taste buds.
