Apply to Become a Vendor

Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor with Portland Farmers Market!

We are now accepting vendor applications for the five markets we operate in Portland, Oregon: PSUShemanski ParkKingKenton, and Lents International Farmers Markets.

Please follow the steps outlined below to apply.

STEP 1: Determine Your Eligibility

Each of the markets feature vendors offering food and farm products only. All products must be grown, raised, caught, gathered or produced by the vendor in Oregon or Washington, and must be pre-approved before being sold at the market.

Please note the following are not accepted at our markets:

  • Food trucks and food carts
  • Gas powered generators
  • Crafts, pet food and non-food items, unless grown and processed by the farmer or producer
  • Products containing THC
  • Nationally or internationally distributed products
  • Businesses located outside of Oregon or Washington

STEP 2: Ask Your Questions

We take pride in serving as a small business incubator for numerous local and regional farms, nurseries, bakeries, meat and seafood providers, cheese makers, and specialty food producers.

We offer online interactive sessions to prospective vendor applicants to learn more about the application process and what we look for in applications.

We strive to curate balanced and diverse marketplaces that showcase our region’s agricultural bounty, support returning & emerging businesses, and meet the unique interests of each market’s shopper base.

Our selection committee is tasked with curating farmers markets with the goal of supporting a vendor mix of approximately 70% Farmers/Ranchers/Fishers/Foragers, 25% Farm-Direct Processors and 5% Product Representatives at each market.
