Our Markets

Each of our six markets has a personality of its own.

We invite you to visit each of our markets and discover
the unique flavor that each has to offer.

Of course, our Saturday PSU market which is held on the South Park Blocks at Portland State University is our most well-known market. It gets the biggest crowds and the most publicity. But every market has its own group of devotees.

2010 will offer a new market on Mondays at Pioneer Courthouse Square.

Our Wednesday market at Shemanski Park is held downtown at the north end of the South Park Blocks between Salmon & Main. It is a market dominated by folks who work and live downtown. Many people stop by for lunch. It has a city feel.

Thursdays offer the market at Hinson Church in Southeast Portland. This is a family-oriented neighborhood market where market shoppers spend as much time catching up on neighborhood news as they do buying produce. In 2010, Thursdays also will offer a new market on NW 23rd Street.

Sundays offer our market at the King Elementary School serving Portlanders living in the North and Northeast sections of our city.

Our markets are open rain or shine, but may close without prior notice during extreme weather conditions in order to maintain the safety of shoppers and vendors.
